I received a promotional email from CVS that said I qualified for a special promotional offer. All I had to pay for was S/H for one of the products I chose. I chose a product (Keto Management) and by entering my CC info, I agreed to their subscription. (Also, I was billed for TWO products), $4.95 and $5.95. I still don’t understand how, but I also signed up for Forskolin Management. As soon as I realized that this was a subscription, I called them. I was told that I would have to pay shipping AND pay the full price of the products to return the items (which I hadn’t even received yet). I called again on 12/12/20 and was told that I could not cancel yet, that I had to give the products time to work, that this was how they made their money…. I resorted to using their online cancellation numerous times from 12/12/20 until 1/4/21. On 1/4/21, two withdrawals from my bank were made in the amounts of $88.44 and $90.76. I called the company and was told that this was what I agreed to. After about 20 minutes of trying to obtain a refund, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was placed on hold for over 55 minutes. I called back and was directed to a manager. "Carlos" advised me that on 12/12/20, I was offered an "extension" and that since I didn’t call by January 2, 2021, I was responsible for the charges. I told him that was an outright lie. I asked to hear the phone recording from 12/12/20. He refused. After telling me that I could not be refunded, he offered me a complimentary 35% refund on the charges. I reluctantly accepted and then called my bank. My bank is going to dispute the charges and start an investigation. I also had to have my bank card deactivated.
