Type of a scam Tech Support

I received an email from them that stated that I had been charged $249.99 CDN for Windows service security renewal so I called the 1-888-407-1293 # provided to tell them that I did not order any service and that I did not have it already before so it shouldn’t be a renewal and I want this cancelled right away and I want my money back. They kept me on the phone for over an hour and a half and during this time they were asking me for my info for my credit cards and I kept saying no, if you charged my card then you have the info. All of a sudden I saw my mouse moving all over the place on my laptop and I saw my paypal account come up and my credit card accounts surface and over $500 being taken out on one and over $700 on another so I said what are you doing? I can see you are taking out money and billing me on 2 different cards that I have registered with paypal. They said they were with Western Union and are taking out money because I won’t give them my account and they want their surplus back that they supposedly deposited in my account by mistake. They change the story as they go. They obviously hacked my paypal account and got my credit card info from there. So I said I’m calling and reporting you and then I hung up and called my credit card companies to make sure that there were no major withdrawals done on my cards that morning. There was a transaction that showed up on one of my cards and luckily the credit card company did not allow it to go through and cancelled that transaction on my behalf so I cancelled both cards I had and ordered new ones.
