I was offered a position as a brand ambassador for SwimClassy through Instagram. Initially, it sounded great because they were offering me a huge discount of about 50% on beautiful swimsuits. So, naturally, I ordered two. I didn’t think that it was a scam at first because I saw how many followers they had and that we had a few mutual followers. I spent about $100 on swimsuits that I never received. I emailed them constantly asking about my order and they would get back to me, apologizing for the delay and that my order will be sent out that next week. Then, after a while, they stopped responding. I have emailed and messaged everyone I could think of, but still nothing. That’s when I noticed that everything was shut down: their Instagram, their website, their emails.

I bought two tops 45 days ago. The company. 28 emails later the company stated that they dont have a carrier to bring the clothes from China. 10 emails after the initial 28 when I was asking for a refund they claimed they were having tech issues and that they would be sending tracking info soon even though they claimed within the email 27 and email #39 that they had sent me tracking information but they never did. I have sent them emails asking for my money back and they sent coupon code to apologize and for me to buy more clothes even though I still have yet to get the first and initial order.
