Type of a scam Employment

This is a job scam. The lure you in offering you a job that is $26-30 and hour. It is a work at home position where they claim they will send you equipment to do your job. They then ask you to contact with them through AIM and they ask you interview questions and try to build up the relationship. Then they steal your information, ask for direct deposit info and drain your bank accounts. This is the initial email that I received.: After careful review of the interview session you had with our representative,the board has decided you are fit for the position and therefore you have been offered the position as CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE / DATA ENTRY for our company. We welcome you aboard and we hope you will be of great addition to the team. Attached to this message is your appointment letter, you are required to have it signed and sent back with a copy forwarded to your hiring manager for endorsement. Thank you for your patience through the review period. Congratulations!! They create a fake name using Aim and get peoples information through online websites and name drop Human Resource names making it seem legit. The next email included this: Hi ***, Good, Kindly proceed…. This will only take 30-45 minutes of your time. If not, you are to report once you are available anytime today, schedule a more convenient time or 8:00 am EST. You are to follow up by adding my screen-name:- s_seward to your list on AIM. Download AIM (AOL Instant Messenger). Gain access to the app using your new screen-name and your password.
