Strong Current sells a lens for mobile phones called the HD360 zoom. It is advertised various ways, one way is as an 18X zoom lens, the price was $59.99. When I received it, I tested it and found that it is a cheap 6x lens, not a zoom lens. The same lens sells from China for about $6.00 on ebay. The lens shipped from Switzerland. I asked for my money back, and was directed to send it back to an address in the Netherlands, or I could choose to get a 30% discount on the lens. I chose to ship it back, and was told that I would not get a refund until the lens was received along with my receipt, PayPal account email address, and information that would identify that I purchased the lens from them. I shipped the lens at a cost of $35.15, and following the tracking, I found that there was no such address in the Netherlands, and that the package was being returned to me. Strong Current will never receive the lens, and won’t have a way to process my refund. The phone number in NY doesn’t return calls, and the office in the UK doesn’t answer emails. I’ve lodged a complaint with PayPal, and if they don’t hear from Strong Current in 10 days, they will refund the purchase price. Strong Current has not answered any of my emails since the first one directing me to return the lens to the Netherlands address, which doesn’t exist.
