The scammer had an add on birdsnow.com for African Grey weanlings in Pacific Palisades. I messaged and the scammer texted me. He presented information on birds and sent me an email. I noticed right off that his phone number was a DC number. He explained that the aviary was located in Florida. He then proceeded to ask what sex and how soon I wanted a bird. I said male and that I just started looking. He then became insistent about me selecting a bird and providing him information. He also offered to send me the bird, cage and food for $980.00. At that point I knew something was very wrong. I checked on the ScamPulse.com scammer site and found a similar story to mine at which point I informed the seller to lose my information as I had found his scammer information on the ScamPulse.com website. For anyone buying anything online, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
