Type of a scam Phishing
The phone calls started on April 25, 2018 at 7:00 AM. A female called first and I couldn’t understand her. I do not have caller ID. She hung up and a guy called right away telling me the extended warranty on my car had expired and I needed to renew. I told him I wasn’t going to renew. About every hour to half hour I got another call from the same company. I have tried being nice and eventually screaming at them and they still call. I called and reported them to my phone company and the FTC who told me to wait 24 hours and if they didn’t stop call the FTC back. I called the FTC a second time and was told "don’t answer your phone". Now we are 3 weeks later and I am still getting calls starting at 7 AM every weekday morning. If I don’t answer they hang up and call right back 3-4 times. Although, the calls are less frequent it feels like harassment. I stopped the conversation the one time I talked to a person about the plans and before they transferred me to the person with the cost of the different plans.
