Type of a scam Online Purchase

My mother went online to order an incense burner at on 11/30/2020. Received an email containing payment overview and order number. Two weeks later the item still has not arrived and there has been no other email from the company regarding shipment. Tonight when she told me about it, I went online to investigate and noticed that the name of the website, the name of the company at the bottom of the website (Inscents Waterfall), and the contact email address ([email protected]) are all different. I also noticed that the website only sells one specific item and nothing more. When my mother and I called the customer service number on the website their voicemail box is full. My mother also emailed the contact email address listed a few days after her purchase and has yet to receive a response although the company claims they will respond within 24 hours.

  1. I did receive my fountain but no incenses cones. Therefore it is totally useless. I would like to find an e-mail address and let them know this but I can’t find one.

    1. It’s a shame they had so many good reviews, but I think most of them are fake. Not happy at all with mine. ALL of the incense cones smell the same, and are not pleasant at all. Each cone will last about 3-4 minutes and leave the house stinking like a giant ashtray. It only flows down to the second tier. They are a scam company, no real address or contact info., and do not honor return policy. You could try [email protected].

  2. This is a scam. I cancelled my order within 10 minutes but they refused to cancel, saying it had already shipped. The incense all smells the same and is unpleasant, like chemical-laden smoking wood. It does not burn down past the second tier and leaves an awful odor in the house, bad enough to cause asthma. Even though I cancelled the same day (as per their policy) they wanted me to pay for return shipping with insurance in order to get a refund and even then, they say on their website “We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.”

  3. I recently received my incense waterfall and cones. Well, what the hype is about this product I have no idea. The waterfall is lovely but the cones are just bits of wood, coloured and certainly not infused with essential oils. I burnt three in the space of twenty minutes and to be honest I wish I had not. They have made my house smell like a campfire and dirty ashtrays. There are no essential oils at all. The wood burns so quickly it’s a joke. I regularly burn Indian incense in my home and it smells amazing and the sticks last for ages. I would be good if someone jumped on the bandwagon and made real cones for clients who have bought these waterfalls. I bought mine from Instagram at
