Type of a scam Online Purchase

Website lists bulldog puppies available for sale. When you contact them via their website, you will get a short email stating that they are lovers of these dogs and because they are expensive to buy, they breed and sell them for a reasonable price to loving homes. They have pictures of the ones you are interested in and send them to you with a questionnaire about why you want one of their puppies. Once you answer the questions and send back, you receive another email that states how they will ship the dog free of charge to the nearest airport to you and for $50 more, they will arrange home delivery. They also state that they understand you may not be comfortable sending money up front and have a way to ease your mind – they will get a shipper ID number from their shipping company and email that ID to you. Then they want you to send payment via Walmart or MoneyGram. This is where we started to question things (like how can you air ship an animal free of charge when the cost could easily be more than the price of the puppy). Total money lost $700

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Me and my kids were looking for an english bulldog to purchase because I have always wanted one and recently had to put our 14 year old lab to sleep. We came across the website www.championbulldogs.us and saw a dog they had named Romy. We contacted them by email and they sent us additional pictures and information. They even went as far as having questions for us to ask about breeding and stuff. Anyway after texting and some emails, I was convinced that this was ok and we could send the money to get our dog. He went by the name Delton Darlington out of Ohio. He sent me a tracking number, so I can verify and I sent him $700 by western union. https://www.safepetrelocators.com/track-shipment/ is the website I used my tracking number to verify where the dog was. I even went as far as to call the tracking company and they seemed like a normal tracking company. `Well, needless to say the dog never showed up, but the website is still up and running. I just don’t want these scammers to take advantage of anyone else.
