Type of a scam Employment
I applied to a job posting for an At Home Customer Care Rep. Remote for Conifer Health Solutions,however there is an actual company the one I’m referencing to isn’t the actual company,Heidy Fernandez sent me an email from [email protected] telling me that I was accepted to move forward in the hiring process and to contact Kelly Lyon using this app http://app.wire.com/ to set up my interview. Red flag should have been when it was a text app,but anywho I kept going forward thinking I’m getting this “Awesome “ opportunity,once I finished my interview I was given some employee rules and was told I’ll receive an offer if hired. That next morning I received an offer letter from [email protected] I accepted the offer and sent back my offer letter and direct deposit form. Everything was ok. At least I thought. The very next morning Kelly contacted me again VIA the message app Wire telling me I had to set up an account for the HOL then I could start after everything was set up,but I had to provide a credit card and the limit of the card and they were supposedly going to fund the card for me to purchase my equipment but that’s when I got concerned and I let Kelly know I didn’t feel comfortable providing that type of info,she was very persistent and wasn’t very reassuring at all so I discontinued the conversation with Kelly. Fast Forward to Monday I decided to reach out to the company itself and was told they didn’t know “Kelly” but that Amberly and Heidy both were employees I was given Heidy’s contact info along with Amberly’s but was unsuccessful at reaching them both however the young lady assisting me told me that it didn’t sound like company procedures and NO ONE in the company should be asking for your Direct deposit or any info because the had an secure website that they collected that info. The young lady also wanted copies of the emails and email addresses I was told that either email addresses belonged to Heidi or Amberly as well both ladies DID NOT send those emails the emails used by the Scammers we’re completely different from the ones in my email. I was told that they will look into the incident further with their team.
