Type of a scam Phishing
This website claims to be selling Cavalier King Charles puppies. Several of the dogs and puppies shown in photos on their website are known to me through the Cavalier Instagram community. My family is shown in a photo as a testimonial for their company with a fake name. They were not purchased from this company and are not for sale. They ask for a $300 non refundable deposit for their puppies. The sale prices of the puppies are $1500-$2500 less than Cavalier puppies normally sell for. I feel confident they are trying to get people’s credit card numbers and have no intention of delivering a puppy.

Type of a scam Online Purchase
I came across this website while looking for King Cavalier Spaniels for my mom. The qeb site looks legit with the pictures of the puppies and online testimonials, but I became suspicious when looked into the company further. Liongate Spaniels is the current business name, but I’m sure they have changed the name several times.
When trying to find a puppy online, there are a few things to remember:
-there is no such thing as "travel insurance"
-While dogs can get passports, they are only required for international travel
-Airlines require health certificates signed by a veterinarian stating the animal is healthy enough for travel
-Ownership transfer papers are not legitimate
-Know what other breeders are selling their puppies for, if the price seems too good to be true it probably is.
