We found a border collie puppy we wanted to purchase. We contacted them from their website. We exchanged multiple emails and decided to purchase the puppy for $700.00. I sent the money through Venmo to Angela Brown’s account (@Angela-Brown-613) and we were told the puppy would be shipped to us today (12/28/2020). The shipping company (https://cross-statedelivery.com/) contacted me via text (586-372-9041) and email ([email protected]) and said they needed insurance of $1300 that would be completed refunded once the puppy was delivered. That was paid from my PayPal account to Donna McCartney
([email protected]). We were then told that the puppy was in Louisville, KY and the crate needed to complete the trip needed a deposit of $980.00 which would also be refunded once the puppy was delivered. That was given in American Express Gift Cards. It was once the time came and went that we realized there was no puppy and they had taken all of my money. I am a single mom with two kids and had no idea this was a scam. Everything seemed legit and now I don’t know what to do to get my money back. Please help me.
