I emailed them regarding purebred Maine C o o n kittens on their website, they seemed really legit and I had other people say the same. I put $200 for a holding fee for one of the kittens after emailing them for a while, they even sent photos and videos of the kitten in question in which I couldn’t find anywhere else. Then after my bank held my account for suspected fraud I got worried and asked them for proof that they are indeed a breeder and not a scam. They never replied and I am unfortunately out of $200, I just don’t want this to happen to anybody else because it incredibly disappointing.

yes I reached out to them about a kitten I saw for sale on their site. Ladysmithcattery.com Site up new 2020 so that was a hint. When I asked to call them to talk they would not. When I asked to do a video chat and see the kitten they got a bit “touchy” and said we don’t do that sort of thing. 500 for kitten 12 weeks old including transportation. It was how quickly they “approved” me for a kitten that was suspicious. we have done rescues for cats and dogs for years and you don’t screen an immediate “we are impressed” and want to go fast. Then have not responded back to us since.

Oh they say they are in Princeton New Jersey and it just so happens I have a cousin about an hour from there. They would not allow her to come even peek through the window (considering COVID19 etc)

This website (LadySmith Cattery), I believe to be a scam. Their website implies that they have available Maine [censored] kittens for sale, shipping available and included in their affordable price. I contacted them in regards to purchasing a kitten (while still doing my research) and they replied to me via email. They also texted my phone once, but stated to reply back via email again. They (and their website) stated that their Cattery is registered and in good standing with TICA (The International Cat Association) and other replicable animal registry’s. I could not find them on the TICA website. We were in contact via email back and forth until I asked for additional pictures of the kitten excluding ones they had already sent me, and I requested their TICA registry numbers. I have not heard from them since I requested that information. They had previously asked me for my personal information for “purchasing and shipping purposes.” I did not supply that information, though they did initially get my phone number.

That’s exactly what happen to me except the name of the website was Miss Kristen Cattery home. I didn’t submit the $500 dollars via Zelle. They send different email addresses for the payment. They need to be investigated and put in jail. I’m still researching them. I believe they get beautiful kittens from the internet and fake like it belongs to them.
