Type of a scam Government Agency Imposter

My mother received two phone calls in one day. She did not answer because she did not recognize either number. When she listened to the voice mail, it was a recording each time. The first part was cut off so not sure which agency it claimed to be from. The part of the recording we did hear stated she, and her family, were being investigated for money laundering. Then said for more information and to avoid the case being downloaded to the federal court, press one. Based on the recording we assume it’s along the same line as the scams related to claims of warrants being issued for failure to appear for jury trial, arrest, etc. The numbers listed for each call appeared as Wyoming numbers (307) out of Alpine, Wyoming. Pretty sure there are no government or federal offices in Alpine that deal with things like this.
