I received an email and it stated ; Congratulations CVS Pharmacy Customer. Dear CVS user, you have been selected to get an exclusive reward. To qualify for this special offer, simply complete our 30 second marketing survey about your experience with CVS. Start here, survey questions, name, email address, male/Female, age and how many times visit CVS. Once survey completed, it says you have an option to choose one of 8 free gifts. When you select a gift, it says that you have to pay the shipping & handling charge of $7.95.
I never received a confirmation so when I checked with my bank, the company had charged my credit card 2x $7.95. I was able to contact the company, the phone # showed with charge. When I contacted the the company, it was an India woman, she said that she was the supervisor. I explained that there were two charges on my credit credit and I only wanted one free gift with a S&H charge of $7.95. She said that one product face cream went along with other product even though I didn’t order it. She said that no refunds would be issued, I asked to speak to a manager and she said I could not go any further than her. I asked for the company’s Corporate office name and address. She provided a P.O. .Box even though I asked for the street name. Also, I asked for the CEO name and she said that she couldn’t provide the name or Corporate office address. She said that there’s no refund and I couldn’t speak to any one else, she was the supervisor. She hung up on me. When I called back, another India woman answered and said that she was the supervisor and no refunds would be issued. She provided a false email address for the company. I couldn’t take any further risk, so I canceled my credit card and had the Bank issue me a new card. This company is a fraud, they get your credit card and charge additional products. This could be happening to hundreds of consumers and they are collecting thousands of dollars based on the scheme.
