Total money lost $525
Type of a scam Identity Theft
Initial means of contact Not applicable
Kristine McCreery reached out to me in May of 2019. She said she would be able to help me with Blogging and my Social Media, for $525 for the entire year. I thought this was an incredible deal. Especially with everything she promised me (see email from her below). We even set up a time to speak over the phone so I could make sure she was human and not some scammer. She sent me an invoice via email from FreshBooks, invoice 2019-05SA for $525 and I payed it. She also asked me for my logins and passwords for WordPress, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and an Excel report with all of my contacts! Since then I have not received anything from her. I have tried to call her, email, and text her. There has been no response with the exception of a few emails. The few responses I have received from her, one time she told me she had a family emergency and the other 2 times she has told me she was sending my login information, but I never received anything. It has been over 3 months and nothing. I truly believe she is a scammer, liar and steals peoples money. Do not send her your money!
HERE IS THE EMAIL SHE SENT ME:

There was no Identity Theft. I do not take payment information, such as credit card info or addresses, etc. Payments are run through a third party. I only receive a confirmation email that states “this invoice has been paid.” I’ve contacted ScamPulse multiple times to have this post removed from their site. The post is entirely incorrect. ScamPulse never replied back. They do not verify posts for accuracy. Anyone can post anything about someone, or their business, on their website. By not verifying for accuracy, it can damage a person and their businesses integrity and reputation. ScamPulse allowed an accusation allegating “Identity Theft” post about me and my business, which is absolutely incorrect. ScamPulse does not provide a phone number, or address of their company. Upon further research, it was found that ScamPulse is a newer website and not reliable. There are many complaints against ScamPulse.com and is most likely not a legitimate website. There is no follow up on their end, nor any type of confirming accuracy of posts they are allowing on their site.
