Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

I was approached on instagram by Shelby Waters claiming to work for Lucky Day. I had downloaded the luckyday app on my phone approximately 3 weeks prior.

Shelbly stated that my account was picked to win 3.4 million dollars and a Tesla car.

I was very cautious and tried to find out as much as i could before proceeding.

When I clicked on Shelby’s name on Instagram it transferedd straight to the lucky day site so it looked very legitimate .

I was asked to pay help pay the IRS for the prize money.

Well after a year nothing happened.

All i recieved was a large debt, broken dreams and a very hollow feeling that no one on this earth can be trusted.

"You have won $100,000! Congratulations!" Not so much. Was contacted through instagram by someone posing as lucky day online app. They asked for address name postal code and whatnot and even video called in which of course they didn’t show their image. During said video call a very audible sound of a phone taking a picture or a screenshot was heard over the line. When asked about the sound they lied and said there was no sound. Said they would contact us in the morning. Have yet to ask for any real telling information but when investigating the Instagram account was obviously a fake.
