Type of a scam Online Purchase
I canceled all orders and subscriptions months ago. The company went ahead and charged my CC that they had on file anyway.
There is no phone number to reach out to Lumin Skin and their website explicitly says:
"Due to a spike in customer inquiries from COVID-19 delays, our expected response time for the Lumin Support Concierge is 6-8 days. Please do not send multiple inquiries, as this will push your inquiry to the back of the queue."
Wow, I cannot imagine why the company has a big spike in "customer inquiries."
Look at their reviews online, lots of unhappy, ripped off customers experiencing the same thing. Cannot get ahold of the company via telephone, and it takes them over a week to even respond to an email inquiry. But then… see below, they wont refund it anyway!
From Lumin Skin’s website:
"Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an order cancellation or shipment cancellation once an order has already been created."
The problem is I didn’t create an order for them to ship.. so they can charge my CC without an order on file and you cannot contact them to stop the order, that I didn’t order.
Sad start ups by too young of folks with no integrity or real life experience I guess. This is the very sad future of customer service with Millennials at the helm.
