Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

Luxury Retreats runs a ‘bait and switch’ weekly rental program whereby you sign up for a glamorous unit (the ‘bait’), the company takes 100% of your money. Then Luxury Retreats tells you your units is double booked (the ‘switch’). By this time you have made nonrefundable travel reservations for 6 to 8 people. In our case, we rented 201 Oxford Court, a wonderful slope side 3BR unit in Beaver Creek, ski in ski out, steps from the village. After our payments were made, our travel reservations booked, we were informed we were being "moved" to the "Potato Patch", a condo unit, in another city, not close to the slopes or a village. The unit is actually across the highway from another ski resort. You Just Can’t Make This Stuff Up! DON’T TRUST LUXURY RETREATS WITH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR VACATION !
