Type of a scam Online Purchase

On 9/27/20 I went online and searched Lysol.com, I made a $60 purchase and completed the transaction through my PayPal account. After completion, I logged onto PayPal to review and discovered the seller WAS NOT Lysol, but Elizabeth Gomez. I immediately contacted PP to inform them of the fraud and to cancel my order, however CS was unavailable, the automated system stated I could cancel on my account; however the system would not allow me to. I followed up with an email to the seller and requested a cancellation, no response. On 9/28/20 I spoke with a rep from PP and explained the scenario and asked to cancel, but he said he couldn’t. I’ve sent multiple emails to the individual to no avail. The only response is on my PP account. I filed a fraud complaint with PP, but it was not considered fraud by their standards. I’ve tried to contact PP only to get an automated message that they could not help me at that time and a disconnect.

PP has refused to refund my CC and the system will not allow me to file another complaint regarding non-receipt of products…nor have I been able to speak to an individual at PP.

Elizabeth Gomez represented herself as the company Lysol, pretty sure I’m not the only person that has been a victim of her/his fraud. Please add this name to your site. BUYER BEWARE….BE SURE YOU ARE ACTUALLY ON LYSOL’s Website or better yet DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE online AT ALL.
