Susan Miller from PCH said I won $2.5 million and asked for my email address. She emailed several pages of information. She asked for $1400, and I could take out a loan or pay it later. I researched PCH website and they say they never do this. Susan called 3x yesterday. I told her I found out from the PCH website that PCH doesn’t call consumers. A different person called today. He said he has a prize and he needs to deliver it to my door. He said I would need a confirmation code which cost $900. I said PCH doesn’t ask for money. He asked why I would say that. I said just come to my door, I’m home today, so he hung up. He had an accent

I’m 80 years old. I got an automated vm from a woman. She said she was happy to tell us we were selected as a winning ticket number 76621 and to call them at 855-262-9723. I called back and spoke to Tom Tucker. He said we had won $5000 a week for life. He asked to speak to my wife as well as it was for both of us. He faxed a winner’s affidavit form to the UPS store in Hilliard, OH. We picked them up. We have not called him back. But he has called back twice. We called Publisher’s Clearing House who said it was a scam.

A person identifying himself as Mark Merchand called me, and said I had won 2.7 million dollars and a GMC Pick Up Truck. He wanted $450.00 on a loadable credit card. He then put his “Manager”, identifying himself as Mr. Holiday on the phone, and he said in addition to those winnings, I had also won $2,000.00 a week for life. He then sent me via email pictures and information about the prizes. In the information it asked for $20,000.00. He became very pushy and almost angry, that I did not have the money to do this. My wife came home and i put her on the phone, because she said this had to be a scam. “Mr. Holiday was very pushy, and almost angry with her. She told him, I am aware that PCH never calls people, and never asks people for money. The phone number they called me from was 1-876-810-3207. Just wanted to let you know.

The guy on the phone yelled at me and told me that if I hung up I would not win the 800,000 from PCH. I hung up the phone.

This guy called on my husbands cell and said we had won $250 million a Mercedes, and $7 thousand per week for life. He was very good and spoke English. He did not ask for money up front but said someone would call us at 1:30 today to make arrangements for delivery. I called the number from our home phone and they did answer Publishers Clearing House but I hung up. They did also ask where my husband worked. He told him where he was retired from. No other personal information was given. We knew it was a scam. Then I called the ScamPulse.com here in Amarillo to report and they confirmed. Of course we have never entered these contests either.

received call from PCH yesterday claiming I had won 18.5 million and stating they were sending payment to bank of america and needed me to go to walmart tomorrow and give them a code number and 1500 dollars in fees to receive the 18.5 million which alerted me that it may be a scam. I called the sheriffs dept and they referred me to ScamPulse.com

I could hear a rooster crowing in the background

The number they gave me to verify the deposit 16362515273

I gave them info requested to access my wife’s computer. when we discovered it, they had installed a program they installed and that they may have access to her bank info. We notified the bank and they reassured her there was no way for the account to be compromised (Regions) unless she provided her bank acct # or SSN.

Caller was male with accent, didn’t sound latin-american or european but unsure from where but was easily understandable.

I am 91 years old and my wife will be 87 tomorrow.

received a call from the above #, telling me that I was a winner of PCH contest, which I did enter& she did ask if I had entered other times or how manytimes, I told I had maybe many years ago& hadent untilthis time telling me to sit down as she said the amount of the chech that I would be receiving was $5000,000. I don’t know what their end-game was, we talked a bit.she was very sincere, no questions for any numbers of any accounts or SS #., she qualified that by saying, nothing will be asked for personal type of info., I think to sound more legit & put me at ease, talked a bit I was elated to say the least, in that bit I did mentioned how ever how this was amazing how it would help, as I was on a fixed income & this was truly needed, When she mentioned she was going to transfer me to a finance lawyer & again " no questons for banking account numbers for savings & checking, I said ok, "no savings only checking". I just remembered she did ask if I owned my home , I do, or was it in trust for my sons, "no". Also a special Courier would be bringing the check on Monday between 8 & 11 in the am, " would I be home? & i repled Yes, no propblem. I think I did mention I live inan Audlt Community I was tranferred to another female(lawyer) we did speak briefly ,hello – intros, don’t recall any names. Next thing we got disconnected, I was upset, because wanted to continue & hear what she was going to say about financial matters, taxes, trust so on. Well that was it , I did call my son & he said " don’t believe it!" Well I 1 was ELATED TO THINK I WON THIS MUCH MONEY, Then I was so dejected & down it was like I LOST IT( MONEY) I WAS RICH & NOW I’m back to being not so rich, & then I was ANGRY that they play with me like a trick ! Later I called the phone # from the caller I D, "number not a working number" some time. I did call Publishing Clearing House, & they told me they DO NOT notify winners by phone. Also called the phone company, they couldn’t confirm that a number with the last four digits being zeros is a true nnumber, maybe a robo calling system.

Well bottom line, I don’t know what their purpose was, then I was concerned tha they new I would be home alone on Monday, but I do live in a gated community, theywouldn’t be allowed in without seucrity calling me first.

The call came in from Jamaica and the guys name he was using is Don Peterson. He said he was from PCH and asked me if anyone from the PCH had contacted me before. I told him no. He went on to congratulate me on winning a Mercedes-Benz and $850,000. He gave the the prize code as $850000 for the money and the car plate # was 1881PA . Then he asked me what time I would be home and I gave him 1pm. Then he told me he had to finish some paper work and would call me back in 20 mins. I am at work and I work in customer service and was with a customer when he called back and couldn’t take the call. Then right after I got done helping the customer my phone rang again and it was a restricted number. He asked me what kind of issues I was having with the agent. I told him none as I was at work and couldn’t answer the phone at the time he called back. They both told me that the phone call was being recorded and that the BBB and Some government agency was listen to the call. This guy then went over all of the prizes again then asked me my address. I ask him what address he had in front of him as the first man said I should have received something in the mail. The phone got quiet and then he hung up. I also told him I would pay him after the check cleared in 7 to 10 business days. He started to get pushiest he tried to get my personal information I declined to answer his questions. I stated that he should have a safe trip home and he hung up on me. That proves to me it was a scam due to he no longer wanted to try to get money out of me. When my mother returned home she received a phone call asking if she got the check. She replied no and she told the man to take it out of the winnings in to send her the rest. The man told her it didn’t work that way, that she need to go back and get the check she replied no and hung up the phone. She received 25 calls after that from that same number. Received a call from Jamaica from a woman claiming to Michelle West. She spoke with a notable accent and stated I had won 2nd prize in the Publisher’s Clearing House sweepstakes : 1.5 million USD, and a Pearl White Mercedes Benz. She tried to gain my trust by asking me if I believed in fate and that she was a woman of her word and of strong faith, I should thank God that He guided her to call me this day Dec 7th, 2016. She asked me to write down a claim number, a check number, and her name: Michelle West, badge number 125341. After I pretended to entertain this charade and agreed to be passed to her "General Manager" she stated she was patching me thru to extension 5. A man who claimed to be Dell Jenkins answered and said he was the General manager and the CEO (wow). He said "I am a very serious man and I am a man of my world, I am going to ask you some information so I can pull out your file". And here is where he tried to get me, (the moment I was waiting for). My name; I said "You guys called me, I am the winner… you tell me who you are trying to reach" He was taken back by my statement and proceeded in a notable upset voice which by now sounded a lot like Michelle’s voice; he said " I am a serious man! I am the CEO!, I am not here to play games or play a joke, If you are uncomfortable please take your time and tell me your name, or you can just tell me to hang up". I told him, I am skeptical about this whole thing and usually If someone calls a person to inform of being a winner of something they have all the information already. After that he (or very likely she, Michelle) said in a more upset tone, "i remind you, I am a serious man of my word and of strong faith I am not trying to fool you or play a joke". By now I am tired of this and told him "the way this whole thing has been approached is not likely to be legit, and that it has been fun but now I don’t feel like playing anymore; I asked him/her to please hang up and never call again. indeed a scam!

Taxes that should have been paid were reduced to a minimum amount: therefore I needed to contact my accounting manager for further information. the agent is 929-800-2058 Ext 225. Mr. Roger Decamaron (Accounting Manager). I finally hung up on Mr. Goldberg and they got NO money. BEWARE.

A man with an accent called and said he was with PCH, Publisher’s Clearing House. He said his name was David Johnson, and wanted me to write down a badge number, claim number, and several other numbers. He asked for my name and when I would be home to accept a prize of $1.8 million and a Mercedes Benz. Next, he wanted to know how far away I was from a WalMart or Walgreens. I don’t know what this was for, except to possibly purchase something. I told him I was busy, and he wanted to call back in three hours, but about an hour and a half later that number rang by cell phone again, and I did not answer the call. When I did arrive home, I called the BBB, who confirmed it was a scam, and that the 876 area code for the number was for Jamaica.

A person calling himself Donald Taylor called on a business phone line. He said that he was calling from PCH and that I had won 2.5 million and a new Mercedes! He gave me his phone number. He also gave me a prize number (EK69491582300US) and a winner’s package number(PC18669975997) and had me repeat these numbers to him. He also gave me the name of a UPS driver (James Washington) whom he would connect me with later in the conversation. He asked me if I wanted confidential delivery or non confidential delivery of the prize. The he said he had some questions to ask me, the first of which was "Are you a U.S. citizen". I was interrupted (as this is a business) and he eventually hung up. So, I never heard what I had to do to claim these fabulous prizes. I called the number and it rolled over to voice message, but was for the person who had called. He seemed to speak with an accent, but I couldn’t make out exactly where from. He sounded very legit if it hadn’t been to good to be true.

I recieved a call saying i won 10 Million Dollars and a car from PCH. I entered a drawing a couple months ago for the 10 Million so i thought it was legit. I talked to 3 different people: James Carter who calls me every day to check on me. Donald Trump supposed CEO and an IRS agent supposedly. They told me in order to recieve my prizes i had to pay a fee of 450.21$ and i was skeptical at first but he then proceeded to tell me i would be reimbursed after i payed and i was like okay no big deal but i thought it was still to much to pay so I convinced him to let me pay half and i did i wired him 200$ in 2 separate payments. After i payed that he then proceeded to tell me that I have to pay an additional 100$ for a stamp on my check and then I realized i was being scammed also i should have realized it sooner when he told me to send it to Jamaica. He asked me to use a western union or go through Walmart and Walmart-MoneyGram is what i used.
