I received an envelope in the mail from a church in Florida. Inside was a check from stericycle in the amount of $1850.00. The next day I received a text from the above number telling me to deposit the check, to keep $400 and use the rest to pay the rest to some artist. I took the check to the bank it was written from. Bank of America checked the check and said it could not be verified. I texted the number back and told them it was no good and they kept trying to get me to deposit it it. I told them it was no good and I wasn’t going to.
