Type of a scam Online Purchase
There was a link through Amazon. I went to purchase a toy for my child. The website was an https with a secure lock symbol. I purchased through a guest pay pal credit card check out. I received a notification of my order being submitted and was to be given a tracker number once it was being processed. Item was supposed to be received within 5 to 7 business days. I had not received any confirmation email of it being processed. Went online to check for the tracker and it took me back to my receipt view. Said there were no transactions. But did show order history of the receipt of purchase. Emailed customer service to do a follow up, and received a reply immediately in email Spam folder. Have submitted with my bank for fradulent reimbursement claim and reported with BBB. And per the ScamPulse.com recommendation to the Ic 3.gov for Internet fraud.
