Wow! What else to say but wow! The wife and I love anything BBQ and love trying new places but this time she ate all the coleslaw first. Said it was on point! Lol. The brisket and ribs are to die for. The sauce is perfect, not sweet, not tart just perfect. The staff is knowledgeable when asked about the cuts and were helpful on the menu since it was our first time in. This is my new favorite BBQ place in the State of Texas not just the DFW area. I will be bringing friends here to impress.

First time there, some friends recommended the place. The staff were so friendly!! The food was pretty awesome!! I chose the chopped brisket sandwich, loved it! BBQ sauce was great!! Wife chose the pork ribs, it was pretty awesome too!! I'll be going back to try other dishes on the menu!!

Always great! The onion rings are delicious though occasionally more on the greasy side. The turkey is perfection! Love the brisket. The ribs aren't my personal favorite but I think it's just preference. Love the soda selection and super friendly workers!

Finally went after years of friends & family recommending this place and they were right, Back 40 is AMAZING! I got the sliced brisket with spicy BBQ sauce, sweet ranch beans and jalapeño Mac n cheese. Very very good! Patio area is a decent size and has some shaded areas from surrounding trees. I definitely recommend Back 40 👍

Absolutely amazing! We came here at the recommendation of family. We got the brisket grilled cheese and fried pickles. The food was top notch. The owner came out and spoke with us about our experience and told us we haven't had anything yet. We will be coming back to try the onion rings and the turkey at his recommendation and can't wait to see how good they are. Back 40 gets a 10/10 would recommend.
