My daughter put a Target gift card she received for Christmas up for sale on Letgo app and a person interested in purchasing it scammed her out of her card. We received an email, supposedly from PayPal, but it had an email address attached to it. They texted her stating she needed to take a picture of the back of the card so they could verify if there were any funds on the card. Of course they never really sent any funds for the purchase and there are no more funds on her gift card. According to Target, it has been attached to another existing gift card of this person.
