Type of a scam Online Purchase

Searching for a Siberian Husky puppy. Website asked for a form to be filled out, and also provided a phone number for texting. Began texting on a Thursday at 8:38 p.m, saying that I had filled out the form and would like to talk with the breeder on the phone. First answer was at 11:07 p.m. First red flag was when the answering text called the puppy by the wrong name (website showed Mika, text said Mike.) I messaged back, to be sure we were talking about the same puppy. The answer was yes, restated that the puppy was still available, and asking when I wanted to proceed with the purchase. I answered back that I wanted to talk with the breeder, would they call me or let me know a convenient time to call on Friday. No answer. Today I decided to try one more time, got an answer of "What do you want now?" I restated that I wanted to talk to the breeder, but I gave my questions, all legitimate ones when purchasing a puppy, and all questions that a legitimate breeder would expect. The answer was "I don’t really understand you." And, "what do you want?’ They addressed my comment that I felt sure they would have questions for me, about our family and home as being suitable for the puppy, by saying ‘I don’t have any question.’ This continued, with answers ranging from telling me they had sent me an email (they hadn’t) and always asking when I wanted to proceed. The answers got more and more bizarre, including "Are you really ok?" to"Please stop texting me" and "I am tired." Finally I apologized for apparently having an incorrect number, and got the answer "Yes, this is her but I do not want to sell again." I think they figured out I wasn’t going to do anything until I could talk to the breeder, and all texts have stopped.
