Received an invoice from IT ADMIN for a Xerox that we did not order (or receive). The PO says it was a verbal order. No one here contacted them. I noticed the postmark on the envelope is in Los Angeles but the business is in New York. Called the number to notify them I was reporting them. It went straight to VM and I haven’t heard back.

Received an invoice in the mail for supplies for a Ricoh 2550. Checked with our IT Department and do not have record of this machine and receive supplies through our lease agreement on these machines. Called to see who had placed this order and was only able to leave a voicemail stating a call would be returned within 48 hours. Did a search online for this company and found the reported scam.

Our company received an invoice in the mail from IT Admin (ITA), stating that we purchased 2 Copystar 6053 Supplies, invoice total of $1218.55. No one in our company ordered anything from ITA. ITA then left 2 voice mail messages stating the invoice is past due and needs to be paid. Again we checked to see if anyone was familiar with the order from ITA. We then looked ITA up on ScamPulse.com and found numerous complaints with the same exact information and the amount due of $1218.55. There address is actually a virtual office space https://www.opusvirtualoffices.com/virtual-office/new-york/new-york/location-237… The person that emailed an invoice was Debra Mitchell in the "Receivables Dept," of the virtual office for ITA!

Knowing that the ScamPulse.com is always wanting to keep on top of these things, I was pleased to find I was right with my suspicions about the invoice that came in the mail to our business on October 13, 2020. Several red flags came up — 1) I had never heard of this company 2) it was dated September 15 but was postmarked from California on October 9 3) when I tried to track the 800 number, it was someplace in the southwestern US 4) the PO number said "verbal" 5) for these printer supplies (and yes we did have that model printer) my boss would buy locally 99 % of the time 6) the fine print of ‘terms and agreements’ on the back was printed so faintly it was very difficult to read 7) the other fine print says "IT ADMIN is not affiliated with any other supplier. Supplies are warehoused at no charge until delivery is requested. Shipped Overnight (at no charge as stated on the back) I don’t know of very many printer/copier machine "emergencies", right? 8) there was absolutely NO website or email contact address given! Thanks ScamPulse.com for giving me the proof I needed. Keep up the good work!

Invoice for copier supplies for $1,218.55 from a company we do not do business with nor did anyone at the company order from. calling the number dumps into a voicemail to leave a message with "customer" information and expect a call back within 48 hours. Appears that "ITA Admin" calls business main numbers then asks for the copier model that the company has and the primary contact for office/copier supplies. This information is then used to generate a fake invoice.

We received an invoice for (2) Brother DCP L2540DW printers on 10/4/19, and shipping, to the tune of $1,218.55. Noting this was well over double the cost our IT department pays for these, and we never use this vendor, we always list a Purchase Order #, I questioned this invoice. Our IT department verified they had not ordered these items, nor would they use this vendor. As of yet, we have not received any such products, even though the invoice itself was dated for 9/16/19. We received an invoice for toner for a brand of machine we don’t even have. It was for the exact same dollar amount and shipping amount as stated in other complaints against this company,. The PO is listed as "verbal" and our receptionist doesn’t not order supplies. Also, the due date is the same as the invoice date. Also, and an enticement for an employee to go along with the fake invoice, they are offering a $100.00 gift card. According to the Google, there is no "Avenue of the Americas", but it does come up with 511 6th st NY. We don’t do business with IT ADMIN. This raised a red flag. we had received a call from someone, they didn’t give a name, about 2 weeks ago, saying that our Sharp copier (they already knew the brand) was offline and wanted specific details about it. They were not given specific info, however, the admin who took the call transferred the caller (male) to someone else. When that other person answered the call, the caller stated that they were with FedEx and wanted to verify our shipping address. This was done, the caller than asked for the name of the person he was speaking with & was given it. We asked the caller if they were going to be delivering a package and they hung up. On 8/12/19 an invoice was received for 2 ea. of toner for a Sharp copier. We hadn’t ordered toner. We researched and found that this company appears to be involved in fraudulent behaviors.

This company called our receptionist and basically did some recon on our company. They asked who was in charge of the AP Department, her email address and also asked about what kind of printers we had and our address. They did all their homework, then attempted to email our AP Department with an invoice in the total amount of $1,218.55 for 2 items with a description name of "Hewlett Packard Laserjet Pro MFP M477 Supplies". Our AP Department reached out to the IT Department (myself) questioning this invoice. I did some looking into it and found that several other companies had the same issue with them. The phone number is just a number to some "Customer Service Center", nobody answers they only leave you with and option of leaving a voicemail. We received an Invoice via USPS mail for copier supplies for a total of $1,218.55

We lease our companys’ copiers and printers so this Invoice didn’t make sense.

They actually called to check status on the Invoice and why it hasn’t been paid.

I asked them to email it to me ( so that I could have more information about them) they emailed the Bogus Invoice.

I asked them to send me a signed receipt for what they billed for, she told me that they needed payment first before they shipped the supplies so there was no signed receipt. I told her we didn’t have an open purchase order for these copy supplies, she offered to cancel the order. She gave me a cancellation number and we hung up.

Be careful. If something looks strange coming through your mailbox, investigate it and don’t fall to scams!

This guy called pretending to be our computer/IT company we deal with and asked me what printer we had and what number on front said. I ended up telling him and then asked him who he was and if we dealt with him. He only knew my first name because it is in my answering the phone, but he went ahead and somehow got my last name to put it on the invoice – I never told him that. We got an invoice for $1218.55 for (2) printers, the same one we have here in office and shipping costs. We never received or ordered these from them. After googling that business name, BBB.org came up and it turns out this is a scam company where they just expect people to pay the invoice.

If they really wanted to scam people, they should probably hire someone to make an actual real-life looking logo for their company and not send out crappy printer-printed on regular paper.

This company ITA or IT Admin sends an invoice in the mail for copier supplies in hopes that you just pay the invoice without realizing you didn’t request it or receive it. When you call the 800 number they supply you with it’s always an answering machine asking to leave your name and number.

Then someone calls you back 10 minutes later with a caller ID of 111111111 and they claim it’s a legit invoice. I don’t have any Toshiba copiers in my business but they claim we order 2 toner cartridges for 597.82 per cartridge! expensive ink!

My name is *** ***, and I work at ***, located at *** ** *** *** Findlay, OH 45840. I am an Information Technologies administrator, and I was engaged by our Accounts Payable department, regarding an invoice, which was received via USPS. I have attached the fake invoice, for your review. After being reviewed by my Accounts Payable department, they had scanned it and sent it to me, for validation, before paying. I was not aware of these charges, and it didn’t take me long to realize this was a scam. A quick Google search on the address yielded a fake company called "IT USA" and "IT Admin". The address does not exist on Google Maps, and when calling the 800 number, the voicemail says "Thanks, for calling Customer Service." The company name isn’t even played in the voice recording, nor is there a dial-by name directory. The recording also explains that "If I know my parties extension, that I can dial it at anytime", but no other numbers are recognized. Dialing 0 doesn’t do anything, either. So, fake invoice, fake address, fake phone, with fake company voicemail.

Also, if you have any questions, regarding this submission, please, contact me by phone or email. I am available from 8:00 am until 4:30 PM ET, Monday through Friday.

One more thing: I was required to fill out the "About the Person Scammed" section, of this web form, in order to submit this scam report; however, this was concerning a business, not a person. I’m not sure why those other fields were required, but apparently they were. As a result, sorry if some of the information isn’t as accurate as it should be. Still, there’s enough information here for your pursuit.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

These people sent us a fake invoice for $1,218 for printer supplies that we didn’t order, for a model of printer that we don’t even own. The Purchase Order no. says "Verbal" which is a blatant lie as no one ordered anything.

After some investigation, I found that the address, 511 Avenue of the Americas, is an address where people can purchase a "Virtual Office", yet the mail itself was postmarked Los Angeles.

I checked the ScamPulse.com site and they have a similar complaint for this business, but I also found a business called IT USA, that lists the same street address and has 30 complaints of the exact same fraudulent invoice issue.

We received fake invoice in the mail asking for $1218.55 for office products that we never purchased. We had never heard of the company or issued purchase order for anything. They followed up 2 weeks later with phone call asking us to pay invoice. When we questioned them on the basis or for more information, they said they would cancel the transaction on their end. SCAM! Stay away. Glad we didn’t end up paying them anything

A fraudulent invoice was mailed to the office referencing an actual employee as a company contact as well as a $100.00 incentive for the processor of payment for the invoice. . A phone call was also received from IT Admin asking for payment status of invoice followed by an email with 2 attachments which were phishing devices.

The invoice from IT Admin was sent to my office for items we never requested or received. I didn’t know this company; they had all my contact information and even the type of copier they claimed we bought supplies for. I wonder how many companies just pay the invoice.

Received a fake invoice at work with business name, address, and employee name on it for the amount of $1,218.55

Invoice is for printer toner supplies and says it was shipped as a rush order to my office via UPS.

Also mentions if I include my name and ext. # with payment I can receive a $100 Visa gift card.

I called the number listed on the invoice and left a message.
