Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

They called and claimed that they were a loan company, I was applying for loans at the time. They took more information, ie bank information, social security number and work information. Claimed they could help me with what I needed. They then wanted me to send $250 to"process" the loan. When I asked for a supervisor after mentioning I record my phone calls, the person on the phone started swearing at me "*** you then, *** you"

This person (woman) qualified me for a $3,000 loan without paper work and wanted me to redeem by money gram, in this case the nearest one would be Walmart. I would call them before reaching the store and then pay a $250 fee through a gift card. Obviously red flags all over, starting by her accent, it’s sad how accessible private information is now a days. More sad that many people fall for this. I am upset and therefore giving in their information, hope this helps.

They’ve called 7 times in the span of 2 hours. One guy left a message saying "again " repeatedly and then said "I will call you again and again" finally I called back and asked not to be called again. They hung up immediately and called AGAIN. This time I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said ‘call next Sunday’. I think this is a scam, if not, it’s harassment.

They said I had been approved for a loan. But they said I had to pay for the insurance up front. But they are using iTunes cards to take your money and its like a cell phone.

Got a call with a recording stating that the loan application I submitted was approved (did not complete any loan applications). Recording was in broken English, using phrases like "blessing" and "blessed" – not typical professional wording. I was asked to finish the process by calling 786-505-4676. Did not call the number. Caller ID indicated the area code is attached to Miami, FL.
