Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I went online to search for a loan and was contacted immediately. The man on the phone said that I was approved for $4000 which was needed to pay daughters college tuition. Confirmed banking information which he already had not sure how, and proceeded to tell me the funds would be in my account of which my bank alerted me of this transaction. Long story short the deposit was fake as well as the checks. My bank is now closed and I am responsible for the fake and fraudulent activity. I cam no longer have any relationship with the bank and i didnt sign the check. To sum it all up I was scammed and violated. Heres one for you the scam group is still calling me for another loan…. Really ! Please help me but due to employer I will have to remain anonymous please thank you.
