Our family was looking for a beagle puppy; we found this website and inquired about one of the pets and got information from the seller. We paid the purchase price of $850 via Zeile transfer and Cash app; once the payment was received, we received confirmation as sell as shipping tracking number and website where the shipment of puppy could be tracked. It can still be tracked as of now. On the day of shipment, we received a request to put a deposit for pet insurance to insure during travel for $1500. We made this payment via gift cards and received confirmation that the puppy would be delivered to our home via third party delivery on the following day. Note: we have since learned the $1500 were immediately deposited into PayPal accounts (no payment for insurance). On the day of scheduled delivery, we received a notice that the delivery was delayed until later in the day. A few minutes before the scheduled delivery, we received another request for $4800 because the town was not allowing delivery until town permit was paid. This is when we stopped and knew there was no requirement for a town permit for the pet and requested to speak to delivery person (no answer to our calls). National Beagle continued to pressure us for the payment and we refused. After threatening to seek legal action, the individual stopped responding to our text messages. The majority of the communications were via email and text. The website and shipping documents indicated the business was run by Patti Donald but our phone calls were never with Ms Donald. In addition, the shipping confirmation indicated an address of 4104 Guinea Road, Fairfax, VA 22032; per search of the address, there is no indication that Patti Donald is located at the residence and no evidence of a business.

After submitting my contact info for Greg I was contacted immediately by text and email. Tons of legit looking photos and videos were sent to me along with the process.

All seemed perfect!

I “purchased” a puppy named Greg. All seemed legit. Until I started doing more research online and found a Facebook post in regards to the same website.

Then I found the comments made on ScamPulse.com about this website.

Beware. This website looks legit but really isn’t.

I lost $400 because they required only zelle payment. Now I can’t get any funds reversed.

Website is advertised as an adoption website for beagle puppies. At the surface, the website appears legitimate. However, upon contact regarding a certain dog (Jack), I received a fairly quick email response with information on how to proceed requesting basic contact information and location information, even including pictures and video of the dog inquired about. After providing basic information, the email reply begins requesting payment be sent to some random Zelle Account(Account [email protected]) or Visa gift cards and specifically states they essentially do not take credit cards, only cash type payment or gift cards even though they are dealing with $1000+ purchases. It was also noticed the wording of the emails and text messages sound a bit off, as if English is not the first language or grammar and word usage is a bit of an issue. The text messages from the phone number of 7039516061 the next morning have similar wording. Additionally, the "Contact Us" page on the website doesn’t work, there is no phone number information listed on the website, another email of [email protected] is listed, and names on the website and in included emails don’t match up. The puppy inquired about was named "Jack" and there is even a testimony from a customer talking about how they just received their puppy named "Jack."

Attached is a screenshot of the emails I speak of. I have more screenshots of emails received if wanted.

*UNKNOWN IF AFFILIATED* Also, a Facebook page labeled as "Beagle Puppies Home" which seems to be very similar to this website shows a manager location of Cameroon, with various phone numbers listed as 678-561-7391 and a website of www.beaglespuppyhome.com

We attempted to purchase a beagle from the website. We emailed them and began texting with the contact. They sent pictures and we eventually chose one. They requested $750 for the dog and shipping in visa gift cards. The shipping company called us to request $1,000 for shipping insurance which would be refunded once we received the puppy. We called Visa and the card had been used immediately after purchase at various online clothing stores.
