I received a postcard in the mail with bold black letters stating final notice highlighted yellow, and it was stating I have an unclaimed reward worth up to $100 and it’s being held for you at our main processing center to receive this reward please call the one 800 number stated on the card which I did and not to my surprise did they ask to pay for shipping and handling fee and that is when I knew something was off and I said nope I don’t have anyway Of paying a shipping and handling fee and I hung up. Anytime I’ve ever gotten a reward it was verified through email and I never had to pay a cent and I was still very unsure of how I even won this voucher. The lady with a foreign accent told me that it would be broken up into four different gift cards to of them were Visa or MasterCard with $25 apiece on it and the other two would be Walmart gift cards with $25 apiece on them and that they would be here in 7 to 10 business days. I wanted it to be true so bad because we are so desperate for money right now but again everything went downhill from there after they asked for that shipping and handling fee.

I recieved an email confirming an order that a puchase does not say where it was made other than the email address I should have first checked ther but for a Apple computer for more than a $1000. I called the phone number in email. He said he was Amazon and would attempt to locate and cancel the order. He asked for access to my cell phone to see he home page. Then he wanted me to open my credit card apps to see what available credit there was and to check and see if any of them had this payment omn them.I did not open my apps and became suspicious of the things he wanted me to do and I told him so which he tried to reassure me this is what he needed to do to cancel my order which at thaat time I hung up on him. He tried to call several times I did not answer. I believe the number he called me back on was # 607-383-4499. I checked amazon and had puchases of 3 totally gross Adult products which I cancelled. I checked all my credit cards then close my Debit card and blocked it. I remove all forms of payment from Amazon, changed my log-in and password. I should have reconized where it came from first!!!

They called from the 531-213-1626 number but wanted me to call the 888-231-7089 number back before 6 to let them know if they could take me off the list or to complete my application. I did not do either since I know it is a scam. I also reported the number to donotcall.gov and I blocked the number. They call me several times a day and several times a week. It gets old, I keep my phone on silent praying I don’t miss an urgent call from friends and family or work due to having to avoid these calls. It’s rather annoying.

They said someone was filing a legal action against him, gave him a claim number and another phone number to call. When he called the next number and asked who they were, they were very vague. After arguing with them, my husband finally said, "serve me!".

I’m absolutely mortified that they called my place of employment that often as if I’m in collections. I got a phone call today 3/14/17 at 12:56 PM from 571.402.8808 phone number. The recorded voice was asking are you there? can you hear me? I said yes. I heard this is a phone scam and the criminal will use the YES word to charge something based on recorded voice. I want to report this number.

It’s a little different but the caller told me he was calling because I had won a vacation. In the process asking if I could hear him OK and I answered yes without thinking because the only scam I had hear about the caller responds differently. It just happened then I googled to see if I made a mistake saying yes there is a vacation scan in Wisconsin similar so it appears it could be another scam. It was a local number so that threw me off the ones I heard about were out of town numbers . I hung up on the caller without answering any questions & tried to call back the number and got a recording saying the survey I was called about has ended the number was 423/661-7404. I just wanted to go ahead and report because it sounds like the scam in Wisconsin.

On Saturday, January 28th I received a phone call from a 916 area code at 12:31pm. I said ‘Hello" and a womans voice said "Hi"! and then she said "sorry my headset fell, can you hear me now?" I said "yes", and then she proceeded to tell me I won a trip and by then, I could tell it was a recording so i hung up. Now 5 days later, I saw two news reports stating that there is a phone scam occurring and not to say yes to the question "can you hear me?" Apparently they take your recording and use it to scam you and make it seem like you agreed to some sort of other expenses and they use the "yes" recording to say they have you agreeing and will take legal action if I don’t pay up, or use recording to sign up for something.

After checking on the number is showed that a few other people have received the same text saying that it was a request from a friend to use their USA number to get a verification code so the friend could access her email? I have received a total of 19 calls just today from this number wanting to sell health insurance. On some occasions it is simply a "robo call" others a live agent I have repeatedly asked to be removed from the call list.
On attempt to call the number back, it is only ever ‘busy’.
On the 19th call I advised that due to the high number of calls I was reporting them to the ScamPulse.com and DOI. Their reply is that there a multiple agencies calling today & that it wasn’t them.

Phone call from live person to my cell phone asking for "Patty" when I relayed it was a wrong number; called then said "maybe you can help me" and she proceeded to tell me about breast cancer patients that cannot afford medical care and would I be willing to share home address to offer financial support.
I asked the called what cancer charity this was for and she continued by explaining the levels of support that are offered from gold level& up.
I told her that i was not interested and ended the call.

I called the number posing as a student to see what the company had to offer. They asked me for my age I said 17 and they said you need to be 17 and a half to apply and I said I am 17 and a half and they said they would send me a study guide. I said dont you need my address and the lady gave me a number and said to text it with my information. As a teacher I had my doubts about the legitimacy of the program. Calling the number cleared it up.

The post card goes on to say "our records indicate you have an unclaimed reward on your account. We are holding $100 in savings for you, good at Wal-Mart, Target and many more- in your name. The deadline to claim your reward is ________. This will be your only notice. Call now to claim your reward reserved in your name. 1-855-672-0672 Monday-Saturday 9 am-10 pm ET " then it lists a "claim number". Once you call the number he will explain they will send you a voucher in the mail but you must send a shipping fee. This is where I hung up. I believe it’s a scam!

Along time ago I purchased a Registrey cleaner online and then had some problems called the number and some woman ends up letting me remote her on my pc I figured this was on the up and up and it ended up my pc crashed so bought a new lap top but I am sure our IP address is probably the same. Get phone calls from them different times. We have McCaffees on our computer says we are secure we have the network deal from them…These people are just a pain in the you know what. So this time I called them since when I got the blue screen saying there could be something wrong with my network security don’t shut down well I did. This is a new laptop not a year old yet and I bought the extra warranty so if it didn’t start up It would go back. It did start up so I really think they were scamming again.
