I responded to a Facebook posting soliciting Customer Service and Data Entry folks, for $18/hour. I PMed the individual who posted the listing, copy of PM dialog attached.
As directed, i installed the Telegram Messenger application, and shortly after a dialog started with the Hiring Manager.
I was suspicious that I was interviewing with a computer, and uncomfortable about them asking for my banks. The inappropriate phrases occasionally also sent up flags.
It wasn’t until the end, when I was told about the computer to be shipped to me and the pdf-check i had to use to get software that i tripped. I did not have an offer, per se, or a job description, and was refused to talk to a real person until I had the hardware?
The disregard for the Thanksgiving question, and diversion to bonus that would be provided were the final straw.

Although I’m familiar with Pearson Vue as an educational and IT Certification authority, I’m not sure they’d appreciate a scam being run by a look-alike!
