VEVO HEARING

Jodi – Dec 17, 2020

Placed order for pair of hearing aides July 2020. Vevo promptly charged my credit card $109.00. I sent emails since never received shipping/tracking info which confirmation email said I would receive. Delays in responding by Vevo. Reply indicated they “would get to the bottom of it”. Time passed, still no update. Emailed again, after delay Vevo replied they would expedite the processing and shipment of my order. Still nothing. I emailed again 12/10/20, no reply. Tried calling 818-963-9654, # disconnected. In contact with my credit card company and so far they are saying since they process disputes electronically and they are unable to contact Vevo they may not be able to do anything…so it looks like it is $ thrown away for me…
A family member previously purchased a pair of aides from Vevo, said it took about 3 months to get them. That is why I continued to wait…this is terrible. Check out Better Business Bureau and Vevo complaints, over 300 complaints filed!

Patricia – Dec 03, 2020

I contacted the number on this post. The company was Ocasa, they said I had the wrong number and gave me this number 929-338-0028. I called that number and they said we are just the brokers and not the shippers. She said you need to contact the shippers. I said how do you do that. She says I don’t know.

Blake – Dec 03, 2020

I ordered my hearing aides in June and have not received them yet. There is no way to get in touch with anyone at this company. I realize there is a phone number but no one will answer.

I ordered the hearing aids and received them like 3 months later, to find out they are not hearing aids but amplifiers that do nothing but whistle loudly! I tried to get return confirmation so I could send them back for a refund and they will not reply to emails nor ever answer the phone that puts you on hold forever. They never answer. Regions will not refund my scam purchase.

Hannah – Nov 12, 2020

I ordered a set of hearing aid back in March 15, 2020. Said they would be delayed due to Covid-19. Well I am still waiting! The number I call is disconnected 818 963-9654.
I have called the numbers on this website and it disconnects after waiting! I think we
are all royally screwed by the chinese!

I ordered hearing aids from vevo in June it’s now November 1st 2020 never got them called BBB they said vevo never got back to them and basically I’m out the money. Now I see their website is down. With all the complaints about them you think the government would go after them or a class action suit. But they just took everyone’s money and got away with it. They should be put in jail . They are just a bunch of thieves. Richard Irwin

Ordered my on7/26/2020. Paid 148.97. Have called several times and was told that the mail box was full. Let a message on their web site about canceling the order. Never received and answer. Today when I call the phone number is no longer in service. 10-26-2020

Terry – Oct 13, 2020

I ordered the hearing aid in May, 2020 and it took 2 months to arrive. Customer service did respond. I was not satisfied as they were cheaply made. Wrote 3 x that I wanted to send back, never heard–once they have your money you never hear again. I sent them to the only address on the shipping label which doesn’t exist, PO can’t find it and now they are somewhere out there! No response from VEVO and I’m out 150.00 DON’T deal with this company Jean P

Erin – Oct 05, 2020

Ordered a hearing aid and warranty on July 6. Have contacted them multiple times via e-mail with occasional responses about it being shipped on July 12 (never giving me a tracking number).
Checked website today (Oct. 5) and it’s apparently dead.
I contacted my bank to get my money back.

Derrick – Sep 30, 2020

I ordered hearing aides in June 2020 and have not received them yet. They will not answer and email and the phone number doesnt work. There is a 90 day guarantee and its been 90 days since I ordered and havent even received them. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Travis – Sep 24, 2020

I ordered these hearing aids in April and finally received them early September. They gladly kept my $182.00 after at least 6 requests for a refund. These hearing aids are of such poor quality. The only thing I heard was horribly loud feedback. This company and their product are a joke. Made in China has a brand new meaning for me.

Ian – Sep 24, 2020

I ordered my father a hearing aid beginning of July/20 and have still not received anything and have sent many emails asking for a refund and i did receive a reply saying Covid was the delay. It is a real shame these people are taking advantage of the elderly and taking money from those who don’t have a lot to give. Shame on VEVO! All i have to say is i hope charma bites all of you in the butt!

Adam – Sep 23, 2020

I ordered the Vevo hearing aides plus batteries on 7/20/2020 and NEVER received the hearing aides or the batteries. The company took the money out of my account and I have emailed them more than several times and NEVER received a reply. This company is a SCAM It’s now 9/23/2020 and heard nothing from this company they take your money and run with it. NEVER purchase anything from then again hope something is done with them VEVO could make this right by answering my emails and my calls and just send me the hearing aids and batteries if this company was legit but they are not.

Martha – Sep 23, 2020

Ordered and received. Inferior product. Requested return information and was also told to “donate” them to someone else and a refund would be issued. Over two months…still waiting for that refund which I am sure, at this point, is never coming. Avoid Vevo!

Levi – Sep 23, 2020

Placed an order for 2 hearing aids, warranty, a years worth of batteries & inadvertently ordered a second year of batteries by mistake, all in June. The full amount was immediately applied to my credit card. Within two weeks I received both packages of batteries. To date, NO hearing aids and No replies from customer service after repeated attempts for information as to when my order might be fulfilled. Web site indicates it’s in processing. Definitely looks like I, and many other seniors, have been SCAMMED!

Donna – Sep 22, 2020

I also was promised a full refund when we received one was broken called twice for a refund never received.I paid 184.00 not happy.

Devin – Sep 22, 2020

I paid $129 on 5/26 for two hearing aids. They took 6-7 weeks to get to us and by that time unfortunately my Mom passed away within days and never got to even try them. I called Vevo immediately and was lucky enough to get to a representative who assured me that they will submit a refund within two weeks and she was kind enough to give her condolences. I never saw the refund, I could never reach a representative after that first call (either busy signal or VM box is full message) and of course the 90 days expired at the end of August. I am amazed that a company who clearly is scamimg people can stay on the web for innocent consumers like my Mom. I did check reviews but never saw any of the bad reviews that are all over the web. Is it possible to still get my money back?
Thank you,
Kathy S

Teresa – Sep 16, 2020

I paid a total of $210.00 for the hearing aids and extended 3 year warranty . Less than 2 months the left hearing aid stopped working. I contacted the company VEVO several times by email. No reply. Asked for my money back no reply. Asked for a replacement no reply. This is an absolute scam. If anybody orders these through VEVO you are one way or the other will get SCAMMED! This so called worthless poor excuse of a company should be shut down and sued to the fullest extent of the law. All their glowing reviews on their website are total bogus. Don’t order these you have been warned !

This hearing aid initially sounded great and my husband was hoping to improve his hearing in one ear without having to invest a great deal of money. Hearing aids are so over priced, in our opinion. So, we paid $87.97 as they said they were offering 60% off the regular price for a short time only. We also purchased the Vevo A10 Battery packs for an additional $39.95. This purchase was made mid July of this year, 2020. We have yet to receive our product. There is no answer at the phone listed for this business. I have sent several emails to their support email address. I was told in an answer to one of my emails that they were sending our order out in 3 to 5 days. I doubt at this point we have been scammed and that we will not see our purchased product. We are very disappointed and feel taken at a time when we can least afford it.

I purchased a pair of hearing aids from Vevo hearing on 6/27/2020. I paid 148.97 for two hearing aids and a 3 year warranty with my Visa, On 7/2/2020 they sent me an email saying it was in transit.I tracked my order again on 7/17 they said it was still in transit. After several weeks of not receiving them I sent several emails. On 8/14/20 they said they were looking into it. On 8/27/20 I sent an email requesting my money back. I have not heard anything more from them. When I go to track my order they say it doesnt exist.

I GUESS I FIT IN WITH EVERYONE ELSE WITH THESE COMPLAINT ISSUES…UNDER THEIR WARRANTY, I TRIED TO SEND THESE CHEAP LITTLE AIDS BACK…THEY REPLIED, YOU DON’T HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK, JUST GIVE THEM TO SOMEONE THAT MAY NEED THEM…AND WILL SEND YOUR PAYMENT BACK ANYWAY…WELL THAT TURNED OUT TO BE MONTHS OF DOUBLE TALK…STILL WAITING FOR THE RETURN, BUT AFTER READING ALL THESE OTHER COMPLAINTS, I’M GOING TO TURN THIS ISSUE OVER TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE & SEE IF THEY CAN CLOSE SHOP ON THESE SCAMMERS…

I am in my 90 day window and need to return them as they are not a good fit but when you call the number the phone is full and they are not responding to the email or help form they provide. I have no way of returning the devices So I am out $200 for heat aids and 1 year supply of batteries.

I purchased recently hearing aides, batteries and wax guards. The hearing aides worked two weeks and stop functioning. I sent an E-mail explaining my problem and mailed the hearing aides to the address listed by VeVo requesting a refund. I have not been able to contact the company by telephone because no one answer or voice box is full. J. Price 9/7/20

I initially viewed their ad on Facebook and the hearing aids were at a reduced cost! I purchased because my wife has had a hearing problem for years and I thought she might like these being invisible to others! So I bought two hearing aids, the year supply of batteries, and a three year warranty! I received confirmation and promised a tracking order when they shipped! Apparently they never shipped because the tracking number never came and three attempts to contact them has produced nothing but a ghost! I am really concerned about identity theft since I used a debit card and they now know everything about me due to attempted purchase of these supposed wonderful hearing aids with nothing but five star reviews they most likely wrote themselves! Cheap hearing aids, year supply of batteries, and three year warranty cost me 203.97 to the scammers! I purchased them on June 24, 2020, they do not answer my repeated calls and no replies or communication after these attempts! Beware they are still apparently running the website to scam others! I checked it before writing this and they are taking in money, but nothing after you purchase from there product and only a few emails confirming your order, then no tracking number or communication! They gotcha!!

Monique –

On July 12, 2020, we ordered a set of hearing aids from Vevo. The payment was taken out of our bank account the next day – July 13, 2020. We were told that the deliver would take 2 – 3 weeks.
To date, we have not received the devices. We have contacted the firm several times via e-mail (they did not/ would not answer phone). They apologized about the delay, but now, over 6 weeks later, no hearing aids.

On August 6, we requested a refund of our money. The reply was

“We sincerely apologize for the delay in our responses.
I’ll send your request to our team.
If you have further questions/concerns, feel free to email us back. Stay safe! “

No further communication from Vevo. This is a scam and we are looking into legal action.

I bought a set of these six weeks ago for my brother-in-law because he’s not a computer guy. I put $129.00 mon my credit card and have not heard from them since. Phone goes streight to voicemail where there is no room to leave message, and there’s no email address that will receive emails. There’s a form on the website but they never answer it. I ordered a pair of so called hearing aids from these people for $129.00 with my credit card. It took a month to get them as there excuse was because of covid. Ionly had them 2 days and one of the batteries went dead. After replacing the battery it didnt work so tried a different battery in both of them and now 1 of them doesnt work even after the new battery! Their policy is if you dont love them within 30 days theyll refund your purchase price. Well needless to say they dont answer the emails or messages I sent them! I got 2 messages claiming refund has been authorized but needed to do more investigating.last email i got from them was saying refund should be done within 1 business day well were going on over 2weeks and havent been refunded yet and after countless emails sent havent heard a word on the refund. I will call my credit card company to report this scam to see if i can get my money back.

On June 15th, I ordered a pair of Vevo hearing aids and $168.95 was deducted from my bank account. On July 18th, I received the hearing aids from China, tried them and wasn’t satisfied. I contacted the company on August 1st (well within the 30 day trial). August 6th, I was notified that a refund was being processed. I sent an inquiry regarding the refund on August 18th and was told by Russel D that he had contacted the office again regarding my refund. To date, I have not received a refund. I have at least received responses from my emails but unfortunately I think I am out of pocket the $168.95. It is really unfortunate that during this time of ordering online to obtain merchandise, consumers are being scammed so freely!

Tanya –

Vevo hearing aids is a TOTAL scam. They are quick to take your money, slow to deliver, and a refund is impossible. I have been waiting over a month after reporting problems and broken battery holder. These units are amplifiers and nothing else. I was also told I did not need to return items, yet a refund would be issued in 7-10 days.

Suzanne –

ordered single left ear hearing aid on July 22nd, 2020. it is now August 20th and for over a week i have been trying to canceal my order. no return email or phone call. i am following up with my credit card company now to try to get a refund. this company is a scam do not buy from them.

Kimberly –

Vevo hearing aids took a month to be delivered. 5 days after receiving I was dissatisfied and requested the 100% money back guarantee. That has been a month ago even though I have received emails affirming the refund. Hard to adjust sound level.Amplifies sound for normal things like faucets running, chewing, coughing , dishes, but not conversations. after the second battery change the battery holder broke unable to use. Kept evaluating after refund request.
It seems to be a hearing amplifier as opposed to a hearing aid.
You get what you pay for!
Do not purchase!

After reading “verified Reviews” I place order on June 17th and received confirmation of order on June 18th after my credit card had been charged. Confirmation stated order would be shipped within 7 days. Today is Aug 10, and I have not received the product paid for. The business phone is no longer in service. And, on their website they are advertising a sale on their hearing aids. I have contacted MasterCard about the fraud and suggested that the Red Flag the company. The VevoHearing Aid IS A SCAM!

Kaitlin –

Addendum to earlier complaint. I did a reverse search on 411.com on a whim using the return address on the bag the hearing aids were shipped in. The satellite image that appeared was in Queens New York not Jamaica NY as represented , and the street name did not exist on the picture. None of the businesses around the flag in the picture was listed as Vevo. Some people stated that their packages are coming from California. I bet their return address there is also bogus. It is strange that using a fictitious address I get any location and picture at all. Even stranger that eventually I received 2 of the 3 products I ordered. What would be the motive to hide the fact they are shipped from another country? If it were totally a scam, why send any product at all? Unless the ulterior motive is to get credit card numbers. Perhaps they arbitrarily fill random orders to some consumers to get positive reviews to add to the legitimacy of their scam. Some thing isn’t right. The price was to good to be true. If a legitimate company were importing this product from China, I would have attributed the low price to that and may or may not have been deterred from buying them. Better watch credit and debit card statements people. Another possibility is there could be a shady Chinese company trying to circumvent tariffs on Chinese imports. That would be the best case scenario. Perhaps eventually every one will get their orders filled partially. Or not.

Ordered hearing aids 4 months ago. Never received product. Multiple emails to address situation but no resolution. No phone contact. Tracking number with USPS is not valid although they appear to use the U S postal service phone and computer menu. Never get anywhere . Have paid money on credit card without product. Sent a package of batteries that arrived July 3. After continued “canned “ email responses with same wording received by claims complaints filed on this company on the ScamPulse.com cite, there is no resolution. This company is a scam stealing money from elderly. It is now mid August and continue to have no resolution. They need to be removed from website advertisements. And reported to authorities for theft.

Purchased pair of hearing aids a years supply of batteries and a 3 year warranty. They sent me an order conformation for all 3 products with an estimated delivery date. Never received any package from them for 7 weeks. tried to contact customer service to cancel order. Put on hold until recording notified me all operator lines were busy and without giving me the option to wait for an operator I was instructed to leave an email with my concern and someone would contact me. They did contact me by Email and the instructions for return were very vague. Left me with impression merchandise was in transit and once I received the product I could contact them again to start return process. Then I waited and waited and when they didn’t come in far after their estimated delivery date tried to contact them, with the same instructions to leave an Email and they would contact me about my concern. I thought maybe they caught the cancellation of my orders be it shipped, but never had my returned my Emails confirming my theory. Then 6 weeks in I received the batteries. And a week later the hearing aids. Decided to keep them as I was purchasing them for a friend. Jury is out as to there quality. He says they are great, but just might be polite. To date I have never received anything in writing pertaining to the additional purchase of my 3 year warranty. Before reading these bad reviews I was going to contact Vevo again to confirm the warranty purchase and ask for something in writing to explain the terms of the warranty. I also wanted it transferred to my friend the recipient of my gift. I guess I am lucky getting 2 of the 3 of my purchases. The return address says that the purchase was shipped from Jamaica NY. Makes me wonder if the units are being shipped from China to New York to provide the illusion that it is manufactured in the US. And communication only by Email so you won’t get suspicious talking to operators with heavy Chinese accents. That would explain why some customers in the reviews were told not to return the product as it would tip them of as to the origins of the product. I guess I am out the $19.95 for the warranty, but what is even more disconcerting is they have my debit card number.

Order a pair of hearing aids in June. Daily emails from them wanting me to get batteries, extra ear pieces, warrantee, etc. I replied and said I wanted to see if I liked them first. Once I finally received them I found out they were crap. Ordered a pair of hearing aids June 20, 2020. No response from company via email or phone. I have called 52 times in 2 days, rings until a message says lines are busy and try again. Leave a message via email and web site says they will get back to you within 24 hours. No response there either. Try to track the shipment and it moves around a little but now supposedly stuck in Grapevine, TX. Did receive the batteries, but what good are they with no hearing aids. This is a scam – beware.

I too ordered the hearing aids. I received them, but they did not fit. I emailed the company and immediately received a reply that the company would begin to process my refund and that I could keep the hearing aids and give to someone else. Their motto, ” 100% refund if not satisfied”. After three weeks, no refund so I emailed them again. again they apologized and would immediately contact the billing department to start the refund process. No word and no refund plus they have quit responding to my emails. Started June 9th. I have offered to return them, no they told me to pass them on to someone else.

On the web site it is all very positive response from different people on incredible Hearing Aid that this company from San Jose provides at a low price due to baypassing a middleman. On July 5, 2020 I placed order for that included:

1. Invisible Hearing Aid Both Ears + 3 years Replacement Warranty for $148.97

2. Replacement Batteries for $39.95

TOTAL: $188.92 Payed by My Credit Card.

Since ordering I have never recieved any delivery date conformation, and on my email to customer service I got response that "your items is on a way", no dates whatsoever. On my 2 other emails in weeks after there was no any response at all.It seems that company operates from China and has fictitious address in San Jose and fake business representation in California. Today is July 20, 2020 and on my email to "company support" that I sent 3 days ago there is no any response . It is just a "black hole"!
