Needed a visa for upcoming travel to Vietnam. This site looked legit—immigration.gov.vn— displays as ‘National web portal on immigration.’
I applied for a visa and gave them my credit card number and a scan of my passport.
Later I learned there are multiple scam visa sites for Vietnam as listed on the correct website from the embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the USA.
I Reported it to my Visa credit card company and blocked my card.
There apparently are only two legitimate websites from which to order a Vietnam visa: www.vietnamembassy.us
and
Www.vietnamembassy-usa.org
