Type of a scam Online Purchase

I found an ad online for a French Bulldog for sale in El Paso, TX. I sent $400 deposit for the puppy to be transported via plane to me and was told via email that I needed to sent over $1000 to ensure my puppy could fly with this fraudulent insurance claim. The entire website for Zana Pet Transport is a scam and has several spelling and grammatical errors, which was a huge red flag, and they requested insurance which is already provided by through the airline and shouldn’t need an additional sum of money. I also found a phone number attached to my interactions with this individual as they forgot to remove a previous victim’s personal information and I then proceeded to contact this number. I came to find that this victim had too given money, $1000 exactly to this company for the SAME Frenchie I was trying to purchase and he waited at the airport for a plane and puppy that never arrived. The only difference was that the individual who goes by Emmanuel (“the breeder”) and Logan who “works” for Zana Pet Transport went by different last names: “Tantoh” and with my interactions, he went by the last name of “Champagne.”

Zana pet transport, asked for 700.00 for a pet that would be "flown’ from Akron/Cleveland Ohio, but never came. The man that we spoke too had a british/german type accent. After not receiving the pet, they contacted us AGAIN for a refundable life insurance fee of $900.00. THIS IS A SCAM, looks legit because there is a phony website. But dont be fooled.

I recently purchased a dog from a website based out of Texas called Keystone bulldog puppy club. Which I will be filing a scam report on also. They set up transport for the dog to be shipped and delivered to Alabama. Zana pet transport then sent an email saying that my dog could not be shipping until I send them a money transfer of $960 for refundable life insurance on the dog. After searching into this I have found many people have been scammed in this manner over the years. I also called multiple pet insurance companies and was advise that you do not have to have insurance for pet air travel and not to proceed. They all told me it is a scam. I have both emailed this company and talked with them on the phone. Nothing about this seems legit, they are out to take peoples money.
